My Spring Health Goals

Spring is coming fast, and before we know it, it’ll be swimsuit season! I of course always have the greatest of expectations for how much weight I’ll lose around that time, but for now, I’m staying focused on Spring. Spring is usually the time I say “well just a few more months of slacking and THEN I’ll get healthy” but not this year! No sir! This year I am making a list of health goals and am going to be focused on accomplishing them.

Goal #1: Better sleep schedule

This means two things to me: go to bed earlier AND wake up earlier. I seem to do alright with the first part, but not so much on the other part. I just really want to be one of those people who can wake up at 5 o’clock in the morning and be so ecstatic about it! Well, maybe one day I’ll get there but for now, I’m starting with the goal of getting up consistently at 7. This means going to bed early every night and getting much better with actually getting up to my alarm. Wish me luck!

Goal #2: Drink more water

I know everyone hears this one all the time, but for some reason, I still don’t do it! So I’m making it a big goal to drink lots and lots of water this season. I’m hoping it will help me with not just weight loss, but also my incredibly dry skin. It would be great to drink 10 glasses a day, but realistically I’d be more than happy with 8. Therefore, just 3 of my Yeti cups would complete that goal, I can totally do that……right?

Goal #3: Workout 3 times a week

This may not seem like a lot, but I have practice 3 times a week as well, so I figured being active 6 days out of the week ain’t bad. When I started back up with cheer, I really fell off the workout wagon. I thought I could just go to a few practices a week and be fine, but I have proven that to be slightly incorrect. That’s why this is on my list, and I’m hoping I’ll have my 10-pack just in time for summer haha.
